Sixthreezero E-EVRYjourney Bikes On The Way!

I had to leave work at the bike shop today early. Too excited to work on bikes! The Boss came down and told me that he's ordering two BBSO2 motors and batteries for me to build ebikes for the store!

I've been waiting for this moment for a long time now. A couple months ago I was told that they were going to have a couple little 250W bikes built as prototypes in China. That was depressing enough, but I thought it also meant that I wouldn't be building any for the store here in USA.

The two first prototype bikes will be based on the excellent EVRYjourney models. One for the guys, and one for the gals.

Color for the ladies model will be determined by availability for the first bike.

I've been wanting to put BBSO2 motors on these bikes for a while now, but have been too busy with my other bikes, and haven't had the cash to pick up any more motors or battery packs to make it happen. As of this moment I'll be looking forward to building these two bikes next week!

BBSO2 Mid Drive Motor and battery pack.

If I can talk him into it, these bikes should also be available with 500W and 750W rear hub motors. I'll admit that I'm spoiled by my mid drive motors on my own bikes, but when considering price point and maintenance, I think the hub drives will be a great value for anyone wanting to get their first ebike. The BBSO2 models will start at $1499 with nice upgrade options like larger battery, Lekkie chain ring, aluminum pedals, color monitors, smart charger, etc.

Rear rack mounted battery for the ladies bike.
