It's About E Time!

It's about time I started building ebikes!

I've been too busy selling regular bikes to get started, but now that I have no more room to store more bikes, It'll be less time consuming. I have about 40 bikes to choose from at the moment for my first ebike project.

I'm thinking this will be the first to go electric. It's a Firmstrong Men's Urban 7 speed. The three speed bikes are great, but for long range, it's hard to beat a 7 speed!

  • 17” Steel Frame with 26” Aluminum Wheels
  • 7 Speed Shimano Bicycle has a wide range of gears for all types of riding; short rides, long distance and uphill riding
  • Front and Rear Handbrakes are easy to operate and provide great stopping power even on downhill rides
  • Dual Spring Oversized Seat for Added Comfort
  • 2.125” Wide White-Wall Tires provides a cushioned, relaxed ride for easy rolling
  • 28.5” Wide Cruiser Bike Handlebars with Thick Rubber Grips
  • Bicycle Weighs approximately 38lbs. Fully Assembled
  • Fits Most Men 5’4” – 6’2” Tall
  • The Seat and Handlebar Height and Tilt can be adjusted to properly fit the rider.

The motor kit I'll be using is the 500W TSDZ2 Mid Drive.

TSDZ2 electric bicycle central mid motor with torque sensor
Speed: 15Km/H-45Km/H    top speed 45km/H
Package include:
1.48V 500W 18A TSDZ2 mid drive motor with torque sensor throttle e-brake lever

6.Easy installtion as 8FUN center motor
  7.42T chainwheel
8.VLCD5-display also has a usb port, to charge your mobile device
9.include a split 'Y' adapter, to hook up a 6V headlight, and 6V taillight, which you can control from the display/cockpit

I'm thinking that pricing will be in the $1000 to $1500 range depending on battery size.
An optional rear geared 500W motor is also an option. The 500W mid drive and 500W rear geared hub motor will give this bike a solid and balanced 1000W of  POWER!
